What is cold pressed oil?
Cold pressed refers to oils that are extracted at a processing temperature of less than 49° C. In earlier times people used to extract oil by pressing seeds in a large wooden mortar with pestles driven by bullocks. Today the same process is carried out by using machines. However, it is only possible at slow RPM using machines that have all processing parts 100% made up of wood.
